General

How does WebFolks quote projects?

Every project is different, so we prepare a tailored estimate based on the scope, requirements, timeline, and resources needed. Once we understand what you’re looking to achieve, we can provide a clear estimate of the expected effort and cost.

What do you need from me to prepare an estimate?

Anything that helps us understand the project — a brief, requirements, designs, references, existing website or product, and your expected timeline. If designs already exist, we’ll review them before estimating the development work.

What pricing model do you use?

We primarily work on a Time & Materials basis. This gives projects more flexibility as requirements evolve while keeping the work, time spent, and costs transparent.

How do we communicate during a project?

We usually work directly with your team in a shared Slack channel and provide regular status updates. We also use Google Meet, Zoom, email, Figma, and other tools depending on the project.

How do you handle feedback and changes?

We work iteratively and involve your team throughout the project. Feedback is usually collected through Slack, Figma, and regular calls, allowing us to refine the work continuously rather than waiting until the end.

How many people will work on my project?

It depends on the scope. We assemble the team around the skills the project requires, which can include UX/UI designers, visual designers, Webflow developers, and other specialists. Because the team works within the same processes and tools, we can scale involvement as the project evolves.

Web Design & Webflow Development

How do you bridge the gap between design and development?

Our designers and Webflow developers work closely as one team, so designs are created with implementation in mind from the start. This helps us build responsive websites with complex layouts, interactions, animations, and custom functionality without losing design quality during development.

How many design revisions are included?

We work on a flexible hourly basis, so revisions depend on the project scope, needs, and budget rather than a fixed number of rounds. We collaborate closely with your team throughout the process and refine the design until it’s ready for development.

What is your web design and development process?

Our process typically covers discovery and research, information architecture, UX/UI design, Webflow development, feedback and QA, and launch. We keep the process collaborative and transparent, with regular updates throughout the project.

Can you migrate our existing website to Webflow?

Yes. We migrate websites from WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, and other platforms to Webflow. We can rebuild the existing design or redesign the website during the migration, while taking care of content, CMS structure, redirects, metadata, and SEO considerations.

Can you build custom functionality and integrations in Webflow?

Yes. We build custom JavaScript functionality, calculators, multi-step forms, API integrations, automations, CRM connections, and other advanced Webflow features. We also use tools such as Make and Zapier where appropriate. If Webflow isn’t the best fit for a particular requirement, we’ll recommend a more suitable technical approach.

Can you support our Webflow website after launch?

Yes. We can maintain, improve, and expand both websites we’ve built and existing Webflow projects. After launch, we can also provide recorded training videos or live sessions so your team knows how to manage the website internally.

UX/UI Design

What is your UX/UI design process?

Our process typically covers discovery and research, UX and information architecture, low-fidelity prototyping, UI/visual design, user testing and feedback, and development handoff. We work iteratively, involving your team throughout the process and refining the product based on user and business needs.

Do you use design systems?

Yes. Design systems are an important part of how we create consistent, scalable products. We define reusable components, states, styles, variables, and design tokens that help maintain consistency as the product grows and make future design and development faster.

Do you work with existing component libraries?

Yes. Depending on the product and development stack, we can design around existing libraries such as Tailwind UI, Material UI, or your internal component library. This can reduce development time while still allowing us to create a distinctive product experience.

How do you prepare designs for development?

We design with implementation in mind from the start. Our handoff includes structured Figma files, reusable components, states, variables, design tokens, responsive behavior, and clear specifications for the development team.

Because we also work closely with developers and build digital products ourselves, we understand technical constraints and make sure the final designs are practical, consistent, and ready to implement.

How many design revisions are included?

We work on a flexible hourly basis, so revisions depend on the project scope, needs, and budget rather than a fixed number of rounds. We collaborate closely with your team throughout the project and refine the design based on feedback until it’s ready to move forward.

Visual Design

What can your visual design team help with?

We support brands with the visual assets they need across web, product, and marketing — including brand identity, illustrations, icons, custom graphics, presentations, pitch decks, one-pagers, campaign assets, and other branded materials.

Can visual design be part of a larger website or product project?

Yes. In many projects, visual design is part of the broader engagement. While our web or UX/UI team works on the core experience, our visual designers can create the supporting brand assets, illustrations, graphics, presentations, and marketing materials needed to keep everything consistent.

Can you work with our existing brand?

Yes. We can work within an established brand system and extend it across new digital and marketing materials. If the existing visual language needs improvement, we can also refine or expand it while keeping the brand recognizable and consistent.

Do you also create or refresh brand identities?

Yes. We can create a new visual identity or evolve an existing one, including logo direction, typography, colors, visual language, and supporting brand elements. The scope can range from focused improvements to a more complete brand system.

How do you keep creatives consistent across different materials?

We establish a clear visual direction and reusable design principles, then apply them consistently across the website, illustrations, graphics, presentations, and marketing materials. We collaborate closely with your team throughout the process to make sure everything stays aligned with the brand and its goals.
